    Akira Banno
    Health Solutions Leader


    Akira Banno is a Health Solutions Leader of Health & Wealth Business and is a Business Development Leader at Mercer (Thailand) Limited. He specializes in Thailand’s and Southeast Asia’s employee benefits, retirement, financial services and healthcare solutions. He also manages and support pre- and post- mergers and acquisition as well as career related projects at Mercer.
     
    Prior to joining Mercer, Akira was a Benefits and a Retirement Consultant at Willis Towers Watson (Thailand). Over the years, Akira took parts in various local and multinational projects; these include pre-M&A benefits due diligence, post-M&A benefits harmonization, flexible benefits design, healthcare management, actuarial valuation, DB/DC retirement benefit conversion  to pension management for various industries in Thailand. He also worked with various projects for life and non-life insurance industries.  


    Akira was also an Operations Manager of Automotive Systems Division at Sanden Holdings, Tokyo, Japan. He managed the overall supply chain management for Southeast Asia and GCC markets as well as developed mid/long-term business growth strategies. He was also seconded to Sanden (Thailand) for a year to support and manage Thailand’s overall business operation.
     
    Akira holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan.



    Kasin  Sutuntivorakoon
    Wealth Solutions Leader – Signing actuary


    Kasin Sutuntivorakoon, FCAS, FSAT is a Senior Associate and Consulting Actuary at Mercer (Thailand) Ltd, specializing in analytics, employee benefit design and valuations, insurance reserve valuation, risk capital optimization, solvency and capital modeling and product development.

    Kasin has extensive experience in the non-life  insurance and employee benefits space. At Mercer, he is the signing actuary for employee benefit valuation work across all industries and has taken an active role in various career projects related to plan design, HR transformation and  M&A for Thai / multinational clients.


    Prior to joining Mercer, he provided consultation to various insurance clients on risk-based capital valuation and optimization under Thailand’s RBC framework, risk transfer analysis, technical pricing, profitability management and performance measurement. He also worked as an actuary at a US specialty insurance firm where he developed risk-adjusted return on capital profitability model, stochastic reserving model and various pricing and underwriting initiatives.
     
    Kasin holds a Master of Statistics from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Virginia. He is a fellow member of the Casualty Society Actuaries (FCAS), a fellow member of the Society of Actuaries of Thailand (FSAT), a licensed actuary of the Office of Insurance Commission and a board member of Asia Region Casualty Actuaries.



    Suwattana Ratanavibhas
    Senior Health & Wealth Consultant


    Suwattana Ratanavibhas is an Senior Consultant in the Health & Wealth of Mercer Thailand.  She provide consultancy on the employee benefit related area especially on retirement plan design for the plan changes to deliver the full solutions from the analysis to implementation. From designing the plan to provider selection to implementation of the plan. She also provides consultancy on actuarial valuations for the pension accounting to multinational companies and local firms in Thailand.
     
    Suwattana has joined Mercer since 2010 and she provides consultancy in employee benefit related projects including accounting standards under US GAAP and IFRS for number of clients.  She has been leaded in the retirement benefit plan design projects and worked with the Fund Managers and Clients to implement the new retirement benefit plan including the Provident Fund registration and employee communication.


    Prior to joining Mercer, Suwattana was the Senior Analyst at Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited, a leading financial institution in Thailand, working in ATM Network Development Division.  Her role was in charge of market data analysis to provide strategic planning for Siam Commercial Bank network expansions and refine the market direction for competitiveness.
     
    Suwattana holds a Master of Sciences in Management from Mahidol University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Thammasat University.



    Vinithorn Thipputsakaew
    Health & Wealth Consultant – Actuary


    Vinithorn Thipputsakaew, ASA, is a consultant in Mercer Thailand’s Wealth team who is actively involved in client management for various local and global IAS19R/TAS19R valuation clients. She also has experience in asset allocation and management advisory, financial due diligence and life insurance statutory audit reviews.

    Prior to joining Mercer, Vinithorn was an actuarial consultant at PwC (Thailand). Vinithorn took parts in various actuarial projects from due diligence, life insurance reviews to strategic asset allocation (SAA).
     
    Vinithorn holds a Master of Science in actuarial science from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Business and Accountancy (international program) from Chulalongkorn University. She is an Associate member of Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries.



    Panrawee Weerapan
    Health & Wealth Consultant


    Panrawee Weerapan is a consultant in the Health & Wealth business at Mercer. Her focus is in advising clients on employee benefit valuation and provident fund.

    At Mercer, Panrawee oversees the Project Management for actuarial valuation services and provides pension accounting consultancy to multinational companies and local firms. She also involves in the provider selections for the Provident Fund projects and coordinate between the clients and the providers to set up the provident fund.


    Prior to joining Mercer, Panrawee worked as an analyst with a focus on employee benefits and business development.

    Panrawee holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English from Chulalongkorn University.
