    Ernie owns an Australasia organization that spans across Australia and Singapore. He is passionate about evolving the understanding of healthcare provision through innovation and education. His interests lie in Occupational and Sports (Musculoskeletal) Physiotherapy. In recent years, he has focused on the evolution of the human body of “desk-bound” workers’ as it traverses through the months and years of sedentary static work postures.

    His clinical practice is mainly focused on musculoskeletal health issues such as cervicogenic (tension) headache, shoulder impingement, back pain etc. He works extensively treating patients in various corporations, spanning from IT to Finance to Law firms as well as the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical Industry. He is also involved in manufacturing and provides consultation in product development related to musculoskeletal health.

    Fiona Chia
    Founder of Health Can Be Fun, Masters in Human Nutrition

    Fiona is recognised by Health Promotion Board as an Accredited Workplace Health Consultant. She has been developing nutritional frameworks and guiding companies in designing effective health initiatives. As the founder of Health Can Be Fun, she is well known for her innovative and fun approach towards health. Companies that she has made an impact with are Shell Chemicals Singapore, Gate Gourmet Singapore, Kimberly Clark, Phillips Electronics Singapore, PPL Shipyard and more.

    Her health personality has been seen in public media where she has conducted various cozy and large-scale health events - talks, workshops and cooking demonstration. NUYOU aspiring entrepreneur, MediaCorp Channel 8 variety shows LadiesNite, Channel U Healthy Classroom, Channel 8 Moneyweek, Mother Care opening event, Health Promotion Board Facebook on Supermarket Tour and more.

    Gan Sow Chat
    AP Benefits Director, Honeywell International

    Gan is currently the Asia Pacific Benefits Director for Honeywell covering 16 countries in AP. He has held various leadership positions in his illustrious career in Rewards within High Tech, Semiconductor, Telecommunications and FMCG industries. He has a total of 22 years HR experience, specializing in the full spectrum of Compensation and Benefits. In his current role, Gan worked extensively on benefits management in delivering strategic plan design review, cost containment model, supplier management, data analytics business decision and corporate governance across the countries in AP region.

    Khyl Ty-Rhys
    APAC Benefits Program Manager & Senior Regional Wellness Specialist, LinkedIN

    Assisting individuals and teams to achieve goals above and beyond their original expectations in positions such as Executive Assistant at a major utilities company, Project Administrator in an Advertising office, and Personal Assistant and Tour Manager for an Australian Celebrity, Khyl’s vocation has had one consistent theme: supporting people's growth.

    In May 2013, Khyl joined the LinkedIn team in Melbourne Australia as their Office Manager. One core component of this position was employee engagement -including assisting LinkedIn's Global Wellness Team to introduce and promote LinkedIn's Wellness program to talent in Sydney, Perth, and Melbourne. Via personal career transformation and need to scale and build the Wellness program across Asia-Pacific, Khyl relocated to Singapore in 2015, moving into the position of APAC Regional Wellness Specialist, and more recently Benefits Program Manager, Sr. Regional Wellness Specialist - APAC.

    In the three years Khyl has resided in Singapore, he has sourced and completed reviews of Wellness partners in all LinkedIn APAC locations, built out Wellness studios in Sydney, Melbourne, Bangalore, Gurgaon, and Mumbai, with China on the horizon, and continues to manage a network of 4 vendors; with 100+ Instructors, Consultants, and Specialists across LinkedIn’s 11 offices in APAC. Under the umbrella of LinkedIn's Global Talent Organisation, Employee Benefits, the Global Wellness Team offer a holistic range of solutions that empower LinkedIn’s talent to build resilience, and unleash their greatness -with Khyl leading the charge across Asia-Pacific.

    Rahul Ramaswami
    International Benefits Manager, Standard Chartered

    Rahul joined Standard Chartered Bank in August 2017 as International Benefits Manager for the APAC region. With the bank embarking on a transformation journey to better deliver and articulate the role of benefits in the employee value proposition, he has been actively involved in partnering with benefits providers to manage this change and also leads the operational activities globally around the captive fronting program that the bank operates.

    Prior to joining Standard Chartered Bank, Rahul was with Allianz in Singapore and Mercer in San Francisco where he has worked in the retirement and health benefits space across both technical and relationship management roles.

    Rahul holds a BSc from The Ohio State University, majoring in actuarial science with minors in Economics and Finance

    Shane Yan
    Co-founder growthbeans & Managing Director, Savoir Asia Consulting Pte Ltd

    Shane is co-founder of growthbeans & Managing Director of Savoir Asia Consulting Pte Ltd. She does research work with the Lee KuanYew School of Public Policy in the areas of employability. Shane actively converts research into applications that can positively impact society, creates psychologically safe circles using the growthbeans way for people to learn, share and grow together to promote lifelong learning, social skills and wellbeing, and helps individuals become the best person they can be. Passionate about coaching, not only does she do 1:1 coaching, she instils coaching in the workshops she designs to create impact for her audience. To date, Shane has designed, facilitated and delivered group coaching and workshops for multinationals and small medium enterprises. Companies she has worked with include Monetary Authority of Singapore, International Banking Federation, SembCorp, Covance, Mercer and Youth Corps Singapore. As a coach, Shane has been interviewed and featured in That’s Beijing Magazine and FMLIFESTYLE.

    Shane is an ICF Certified Coach, Mental Toughness Certified coach, accomplished trainer, Reiki practitioner and also author of the book Wide Asleep Sound Awake.

    Van Ram
    Founder & Director of Maximum Wellness

    Founder & Director of Maximum Wellness Guru Van Ram, a Training operator with Skills Future and Peoples' Association, and service provider to ActiveSG. He started with just 5 people in Singapore Little Gulin Park and soon into thousands of Laughter Trainings across Singapore and aboard.

    Featured Laughter Therapist Ram has conducted trainings for over 50 organizations with participation from International audiences in varying industries and has reached out to hundreds of thousand of people since 2010. In his prouder moments, was invited to train over 500 Medical Doctors from various countries at the Opening of the Academia with Sing-health and Guest of Honor President of Singapore, Dr. Tony Tan.

    He also supports welfare organizations like the Singapore Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Foundation, Sliver Ribbion and many others, to provide the best Therapeutic Laughter Training for both patients and survivors of Cancer as well as other conditions which also includes Diabetes Mellitus and Trauma Patients. His belief is that Laughter is the best form of exercise for both the mind and body to create an optimal benefit of existence.


    Godelieve van Dooren
    Regional Industries and Products Leader, Mercer

    A Partner in the firm, Godelieve van Dooren is Mercer’s Regional Industry Leader for Asia-Pacific  focusing on High Tech and Consumer Goods / Retail as well as Mercer’s Benefits Products & Services. She leads several industry forums comprising of leading High Tech, eCommerce/Internet, FMCG and Retail companies and serves as the regional account manager for large Consumer Goods and High Tech accounts across MMC. Godelieve also leads Diversity & Inclusion initiatives for Mercer for the ASEAN countries and supports organizations in implementing D&I policies in the region.

    From 2013 to 2016 she led Mercer’s insights and products business across 8 countries in ASEAN, and also served as the Mercer Malaysia country manager. She started up Mercer’s Asia Pacific Employee Benefits products line in 2008 and is responsible for expanding Mercer’s benefits surveys and related benchmarking and benefits valuation consulting across the region. Before joining Mercer in 2007, Godelieve worked as a senior human resources consultant with a leading consulting firm in the Netherlands, specializing in benefits design and consulting. She has led many projects for multinational companies on HR issues concerning human resource strategies, performance management and development of reward schemes focusing on (flexible) benefits plans.

    Godelieve holds a MA in Law from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands.

    Jeremy Findley
    Business Development Director, Mercer Marsh Benefits

    Jeremy is a Business Development Director within the Mercer Marsh Benefits Health team for Growth Markets. He works with clients throughout the region in demonstrating the effectiveness of Darwin, MMB’s Employee Communication and Administration platform, and how it can drive employee engagement, efficiencies, and cost savings. In order to best service clients, Jeremy coordinates regional MMB efforts in terms of Darwin engagement, ensuring a consistent approach for project scoping and deployment.

    Jeremy has worked in the Asia Pacific region since 1995 in the areas of software sales, payments, and sales operations, and has worked for a variety of multinationals such as American Express and Visa, as well as start-ups. Jeremy has a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Michigan, USA.

    Liana Attard
    Asia Consulting Leader, Mercer Marsh Benefits

    Liana is a Partner based in the Singapore office and the Asia Consulting Leader for Mercer Marsh Benefits. She has worked 18 years in the insurance, broking and consulting industry, with 10 years of experience focused on international benefits, global and regional benefits management and multinational pooling.

    Liana is responsible for leading the regional consulting team across  Asia, the Middle East and Africa and for the provision of consulting services to multinationals across multiple markets, including benefit strategy, health strategy, governance, plan design advice, flexible benefits consulting, innovation, multinational pooling, captives and analytics. She is an active ambassador of diversity and inclusion in the workplace across Asia driving thought leadership in partnership with clients on mental wellbeing in the workplace, aging workforce, structuring inclusive rewards programs with a focus on LGBT, flex and choice in the workplace. She has represented Mercer on BBC Asia (Live) – providing thought leadership on Diversity and Inclusion best practices, LGBT policies and women in the workplace.

    Prior to joining Mercer in 2006 as the Australian Health & Benefits Consulting Lead, Liana worked for various life insurance offices in roles ranging from business development to product management.

    Marla Arnall
    Communications and branding leader, Mercer Marsh Benefits™

    Marla Arnall is a principal within the Asia health consulting team based in Singapore, and is the regional communications and branding leader for Mercer Marsh Benefits. She works with her clients to customise communications and branding programmes that enhance the employee experience of total rewards offerings.

    She provides consulting expertise across a range of communications areas, including employer branding, employee engagement, change management and content strategy. Before joining Mercer, she was the communications lead responsible for the launch of one of the VW group’s portfolio of companies in China and Russia and then became head of communications for Harley-Davidson APAC and EMEA.

    She also has experience as the co-founder of a content marketing company and combines the lean and agile principles from the start-up world with the process-driven philosophy of large organisations to develop impactful customer-led strategies. She brings 11 years of experience from a number of international cities in Asia, Europe and North America. She has a bachelor of applied science from Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.

    Neil Narale
    Singapore Business Leader, Mercer Marsh Benefits

    Neil Narale is a Partner and the Leader of Mercer Marsh Benefits’ Employee Health & Benefits business in Singapore. He manages an extensive portfolio of clients and focuses on helping multinational corporations manage their benefit offerings from both a local and regional perspective.

    Neil’s career spans across numerous geographies including Canada, India and ASEAN countries. In his previous role with Mercer, Neil was the Retirement Leader for Asia working with corporations and governments to manage their retirement benefit obligations.

    Neil received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Western Ontario. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (US) and a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.
